In this spirit, we are looking for a highly motivated PLC Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cuneo. The ideal candidate will be a young Engineer passionate about new technologies, holding a degree in Electronics, Mechatronics or similar, ready to contribute to the challenges and opportunities that the glass machinery industry presents.

The position gives the possibility to travel the world as part of the job is made from the installations directly on the client site (our clients are all around the world), therefore we are looking for dynamic people, keen to discover the world and other cultures. 

In particular the candidate will work on the following technologies:

• PLC Software programming
• HMI Software programming
• SCADA programming
• CNC/Motion control development
• PLC, HMI and Inverter software installation

Requirements

• Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or related field
• Very good spoken and written English. Knowledge of a second foreign language is considered a plus
• Knowledge of programming PLC/HMI (preferibly on Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider or Codesys)
• Knowledge of SCADA programming (preferibily on Intellution iFix, Wonderware Aveva, Movicom, Siemens WinCC, Ignition)
• Knowledge of real-time programming is appreciated
• Optimization techniques, big-data treatment and machine learning represents a plus
• Knowledge of a couple of the following programming languages is required: for example Java, Python, C, C ++, C #, Visual Basic, relational databases (MySql, SQL Server)
• The experience of developing real-time automatic controls is welcome
• Good communication skills, attitude for teamwork and a high dose of personal initiative
• Availability to travel: The position provides for the possibility of making short trips. 1 time every 3-4 months, when fully operational, lasting from a few days to a maximum of 2 weeks.
