The Engineering division was officially created at the beginning of year 2000, but its activity began over 40 years ago when Bottero was founded to engineer and produce glassworking machinery.
Bottero S.p.A. contribute since the earlier ’60ies to the whole history of the flat glass, always with a spirit of research and innovation. In particular, Bottero started with the realization of vertical machines type Fourcault and Pittsburgh to the recent production lines. All efforts of Bottero technical staff have been devoted to the research and development of innovative, sound yet cost-effective solutions for our customers. It is not by case that Bottero have a high number of registered trademarks and patents, which are distributed and appreciated all over the world.
Today, the Engineering Division answers to the needs of different industrial fields, by designing and manufacturing different typologies of lines for the production, processing, handling and packing of the float, automotive and laminated glass.
The Engineering Division accounts some 60 people, mainly designers and technicians. The market see our engineering and marketing personnel operating tightly close to the customers on their requirements, to the development of highly specialized lines and of huge, totally automatic lines for complete production cycles.
