Technical description

The Bottero IG Washing Machine, with its robust structure in stainless steel, is equipped with 3 or 4 brush units (depending on the version requested) with variable thicknesses. Independent motors for each brush ensure the longevity of the brush, control and softness of the sweeping motion, reliability of the wash and, in particular, the absence of vibrations. Brush units will automatically adjust themselves to the glass thickness of each panel, hence distributing uniform pressure onto the glass surface. The machine automatically recognizes and accepts in sequence glass panels of different thicknesses. The life and uniformity of brushes are extended by rotating them 180 degrees to achieve uniform wear. Specially designed sprayers ensure the uniformity of water spraying, while washing. Independent stainless steel tanks are provided for each pair of brushes in order to avoid the mixing of dirt and accelerate water filtering and recycling. Connections are provided to a water de-mineralizing or a closed-circuit, osmosis system. The glass panels are conveyed by special side belts for Drying, hence limiting contact between glass and the belts at the lower edge.

The drying unit consists of a closed circuit, electric fans with an air filter device. The inclined blower self-adjusts automatically according to glass thickness, hence ensuring a perfect drying action. The flow of hot air at high pressure is driven by centrifugal effect, without using an additional heating system. When processing panels that are smaller than 1'400 mm, on 2'500 mm or higher IG Lines, part of the ventilation system is automatically switched off in order to save energy. An automatic system shuts down the air flow in case of conveyor belt stop. Low-E glass is detected at entry. Front hard brushes are then automatically excluded and the rotational speed of the other brushes reduced by half. Thanks to the front and rear stainless steel doors, machine access is easy and maintenance is reduced to a minimum.
