Technical description

The new version of the Bottero IG Sealing Robot, fitted with a 2 extruding pumps, allows the automatic sealing of structurally glazed IG units and the quick choice of the sealant type to be applied. The new, slanted transport system reduces friction on the glass surface and allows the processing of big and heavy IG units. The machine is able to seal a typical structural glass panel with a step up to 50 mm. Additionally, it applies a layer of sealing material onto the extended glass step, in order to darken the stepped section. The machine can also seal IG units with a supporting spacer consisting of two sealed chambers as well as double and triple glazed units. The machine is equipped with NC controls and an easy-to-use touch screen control panel.
