Technical description

• Structure made up of electro-welded steel tubular pipes, protected by two layers of paint: rust-prevention and coloured enamel.
• Accurately flat and top quality felt padded wooden table surface.
• Series of pneumatic lifting timing belts for the loading from the loader and the unloading to the glass working area.
• Possibility of producing any complex cutting scheme including straight cuts and shaped cuts.
• Cutting bridge with honeycomb structure to obtain maximum sturdiness combined with very light weight. Equipped with two independent motors with electronic axis (gantry), mounted on downward facing precision racks with the obvious advantage of preventing the deposit of impurities between the teeth.
• Mechanical lateral glass squaring.
• Cutting parameters adjustment directly from keyboard with possibility to memorise parameters linking them to the type of glass making the use of the machine simple and intuitive.
• The electronic control of all the parameters (pressure, speed, cutting acceleration, quantity of oil on cut, head descent time, beginning of cut head pressure delta) is constantly ensured by the machine control program. In this way there is an excellent and constant cutting quality which permits a good glass breakout.
• Special valve to control lubrication on cut, located close to the cutting wheel, also for controlling high evaporating oils used when working with low-E glass.
• Equipment for cutting head safety:
  Device to measure position on axis ‘z’ to detect the presence of glass.
• Stem with special “controlled breakage” section, easy to replace, to avoid stress to the carriage and bridge in the case of collision.
• Air conditioned control panel inclusive of Personal Computer and power logic with relative controls and safety logic.
• Aluminium alloy head holder carriage activated by direct drive. Possibility of subsequent refitting of a second carriage to fasten the grinder. During the cutting cycle the grinder carriage stays by the side of the bridge to enable the highest possible cutting precision.
• Man-machine dialogue is simple and intuitive owing to a software interface which takes into account all the glassmaker’s requirements.
• The operator is guided step-by-step, during the introduction of the cutting data and in all operative functions of the machine by the software that helps him and highlights any possible errors.
